BOOK LAUNCH BY CFR-GHANA AND QUAISON-SACKEY FAMILY: THE MAKINGS OF A DIPLOMATIST BY ALEX QUAISON-SACKEY

The Council on Foreign Relations-Ghana, the nation’s premier think tank that specializes in foreign policy and international relations in conjunction with the Quaison-Sackey family launched the posthumous autobiography of Dr. Alex Quaison-Sackey, on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at the Accra International Conference Centre.

Dr. Quaison-Sackey, a pioneer of Ghana’s Foreign Service who made history as the first African to be elected and serve as the President of the United Nations General Assembly and later Ghana’s Foreign Minister was a distinguished public servant and one of the first eight foreign officers recruited to establish an indigenous foreign service after Ghana attained independence on March 6, 1957.
