Council on Foreign Relations- Ghana Pays Courtesy Call on Ghana’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.

A delegation of the Council on Foreign Relations- Ghana led by Ambassador Kabral Blay-Amihere(Vice-President) on Tuesday, 25th February 2025, called on Ghana’s new Foreign Minister, Honorable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.

Welcoming the delegation, Hon. Ablakwa recognized the contributions of independent think tanks on foreign policy and international relations and commended the Council for its various programmes, such as the Distinguished Guest Lecture Series and the publication of journals and books, that have rich perspectives on major contemporary issues in International Affairs.

The Minister reassured that the Foreign Affairs would continue to consult the Council in pursuit of the nation’s foreign policy objectives.

Ambassador Blay-Amihere whilst congratulating Hon. Ablakwa on his appointment, pledged the Council’s support. He also stated that, the Council which marks its sixth anniversary this February, remains committed to its vision to make a positive impact on Ghana’s foreign policy objectives and the promotion of peace and security in Africa.
