Amb Yaw Odei Osei
Ambassador Yaw Odei Osei graduated from the Law Faculty of the University of Ghana, Legon and was called to the Bar in 1976. He later pursued a Post-Graduate course in International Relations at the Kenya Graduate School of Diplomacy of the University of Nairobi, Kenya.
He joined the Research Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in a career lasting 32 years served in the following Missions – the former SFR Yugoslavia, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Permanent Mission of Ghana to the United Nations, New York, Denmark, Nigeria, and Canada. He was appointed the Deputy Director-General of the Research Department (MFA) in 2008 and Director General of the Department in 2009. He retired as a Foreign Service Officer in June 2009.
